Environmental, Safety and Health Coordinator – LA
ESH Coordinator for two facilities handling OSHA reportable injuries and illnesses and compliance with environmental permits. At least an Assoc degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Safety and a minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in a similar leadership role in an industrial setting.
Environmental Engineer – Waste Water – DE
This role will be the Site Capability Compliance System Owner for environmental programs, including State of Delaware and Federal NPDES Permit, Storm water, Wastewater Treatment Operations, Drinking water, SPCC Plan, Integrated Contingency Plan, Facility Response Plan, Above Storage Tanks (AST’), etc. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field and 5+ years of experience in environmental work with substantial water and wastewater focused work, including SPCC, wastewater and drinking water treatment and facility operations.
Safety Supervisor – TX
The Safety Supervisor is responsible for administering and coordinating the safety functions to ensure the best regulatory compliance, health, welfare, morale, security, and safety available for each employee in his/her respective area. Minimum of a BS Industrial Safety or equivalent.
Manager of Safety and PSM – AR
The Manager of Safety will provide guidance and leadership in administrating the development, implementation, and documentation of all phases of the Security, Safety, Fire, and Health programs for the Company. Candidate will have appropriate experience in the Security, Safety, Fire, and Health field as related to the refining industry and general understanding of application regulations and standards, OSHA, EEO, EPA, ASME, ASTM, DOT and Security Regulations, etc.
PHA Coordinator/PSM Engineer – LA
The PHA Coordinator/PSM Engineer will schedule unit and project PHA revalidations to maintain compliance with regulation and to coincide with turnaround and project requirements. Candidate will have 5+ years engineering design or operations experience, 5+ years direct experience with PSM facilities, 2+ years HAZWOP experience, and a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Environmental Engineer – TX
The Environmental Engineer provides leadership and direction to the Refinery to maintain continuous compliance with all aspects of applicable air regulations. Candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of direct experience in refining and/or chemical industry, and 5+ years of direct experience in environmental compliance.
Director of Safety/PSM – TX
Director of Safety will deliver timely and effective Safety initiatives, policies and educational training programs. You will be responsible for record keeping and workman’s comp issues. This position also chairs the VPP, H&S, Audit and all other committees related to H&S. Emergency response will fall under this leadership, including HazMat response action plan. You will also be responsible for compliance with all Federal, State and local agencies…OSHA etc. VPP experience is necessary to be successful in this role. 5 years of PSM experience and a 4 year degree are also needed to be considered.
Health & Safety Leader – DE
The Health and Safety Leader will develop, implement and continuously improve the site’s safety and health tools, systems and processes to meet the site’s goal of zero injuries and to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. Candidate will be a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (ABIH), have a Masters of Science degree in industrial hygiene, safety science, engineering, occupational health, or environmental, and experience with Process Safety Management Regulations.
Safety Engineer New Orleans, LA Location
Be visible in the plant and available to Plant personnel and contractors to address safety, health, security, and emergency response issues on a daily basis. Support and maintain overall safety, health, security, and emergency response programs while incorporating accountability and responsibility into all levels of Plant. Operations including but not limited to: Safety, Health, Security and Emergency Response Training programs, Training Mine, accidents investigations and maintenance of the accident reporting database. Provide adequate, correct and appropriate safety and behavioral leadership, counsel, organization, and direction for comprehensive leadership through a team concept. Ensure appropriate reporting and follow-up of elements to meet facility, corporate, federal and state requirements necessary for compliance, continuous improvement, and to minimize injury and illness to personnel, and damage to property and equipment. Support the development, implementation, and measuring of Safety, Contractor safety, Fire Protection, Security, and Emergency Response Services, procedures, practices, projects, and record keeping complying with all applicable codes, standards, and accepted practices. Maintain regulatory compliance and continued quality in safety process systems. Audit areas of performance in Safety, Contractor Safety, Security, Training, Fire Protection, Emergency Response Services, record keeping, procedures, inspections, safety meetings, incident reporting and investigations, etc. and determine program efficiency status. Work with plant leadership, personnel, and contract groups to correct and improve performance and practices as applicable. Direct and motivate employee & contractor participation, behavior, and leadership development in programs, processes, methods, systems, and practices for maintaining a safe work environment and customer satisfaction. Support and facilitate employee and contractor involvement in safety, health, security, and emergency response systems. Support leadership and personnel, respond, give advice on safety, health, security and emergency response related issues, define requirements, interpret regulations and procedures, and assist to define acceptable solutions. Assist in all safety, health, security and emergency response audits from corporate and regulatory personnel and represent company at applicable community, and safety, health, security and emergency response organizations and functions. Assist in special program efforts such as the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program, Responsible CAER, and other distinctive regulatory or company programs and processes. Support cost reduction, synergy, and low cost provider initiatives, and approve expenditures for material and services required to maintain a safe operation of the facility within approved expenditure level and expectations. Lead the organization to a zero injury and zero environmental impact by example displaying model personal, team, and job competencies with a positive results oriented attitude. Ensure that Process Safety and Risk Management principles are incorporated into the foundation of department operations. Ensure annual departmental goals and objectives include meaningful Process Safety activities for all levels of the organization. Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related curriculum. Four to six years safety/environmental experience in a manufacturing environment.
Environmental Engineer New Orleans, LA Location
Ensures the handling and disposal of hazardous and solid waste are accomplished within EPA rules and regulations. Administer the LPDES (Louisiana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) water program. Oversee the collection and analysis of samples of various products/waste in the plant as dictated by various environmental programs. Responsible for all corrective actions and testing related to ground water issues. Perform all duties following safety guidelines. Ensure assigned federal, state or applicable government reporting obligations (e.g. SARA 313 reports; Emission Inventories; Annual Waste Summary Reports, DMR reports, etc.) are completed in a timely and compliant manner. Ensure operational records necessary to demonstrate compliance with assigned environmental regulations/programs are acquired, recorded and properly retained. Ensure control and monitoring equipment inspections required by environmental regulations and programs assigned are properly satisfied, recorded, and reported to state, federal or other government authorities as applicable. Ensure on-going compliance with assigned environmental regulations and permits. Amend permits as needed. Generate reports/records to support demonstration of compliance. Communicate effectively with Engineering and Operations personnel to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits is continually achieved. Interface with regulatory agencies, subject matter experts and industry peers to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulation and permit tasks assigned. Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related Science degree required. BS in chemical, petroleum or environmental engineering preferred. Minimum of two years of environmental engineering or related experience required. Experience with permitting with LDEQ and EPA, environmental procedures, auditing, and regulatory compliance preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. High level of proficiency in word and excel. Ability to perform error free work and provide technical support to ensure compliant operations required. No relocation package offered with this position so must be a local candidate.

BS degree in engineering or science. A minimum of 3-5 years environmental experience in an industrial plant setting (Preferably Texas) with an emphasis on waste permitting (TPDES) and operation. Additional experience in at least one of the following programs; Air (PVC MACT), SPCC, RCRA, TRI or Tier II.
